BACKGROUND:
The Crain Brothers Band consists of brothers and family friends who have been singing and playing music professionally for years.

Eric and Alex claim the band actually started on Christmas Day, 1972 when they woke up to find an electric guitar and drums in front of the Christmas tree. Years later, when they heard their younger brother, Jon, singing like Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin, they realized there was no turning back. The elder Crain boys' parents—Don and Susanne—had instilled a love for music in them early on. Susanne is a classically trained pianist. And Don had been in a vocal group called The Four Presidents back in the 1950s
.

In the late 90s, Alex was signed and toured
with a Polygram/Island Records band called Spectacle. They released one CD, and the band's biggest fans were Alex's nephews. During the boys' high school years, they formed an original band but went separate ways during college. Fortunately, everyone found their way back home and we wouldn't have it any other way.

  • "Nobody had ever danced at our annual company awards banquet until we hired The Crain Brothers Band. People were up on their feet from the very first song and had a wonderful night. I cannot recommend them highly enough!"
    (Christie, Event Planner)

  • "The Crain Brothers never disappoint!"
    (
    Sandy, Country Club Activities Director)

  • "They know when to dial things back, but can also rock the house. The vocal quality and  variety of styles they play are amazing."
    (Jeff, Venue Owner)

  • "The Crain Brothers Band was perfect for our birthday event. We had all ages there and everyone loved the song variety. These guys are amazing!"
    (Joe, Private Party)
